Cartersville High School students have continued to keep CHS on the map with Future Business Leaders of America – an organization that encompasses state, national, middle school, high school, collegiate level chapters.

The students won GOLD Chapter of the year!  The “Chapter of the Year” competition is a year-long review of leadership, fundraising, outside enrichment, membership drives, and community service that each club participates in. The rankings are: Certified, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Superior (top 10 chapters in Gold).

This is an exceptional accomplishment considering that they had VERY big shoes to fill when our 4 Senior Officers graduated last year. They have surpassed my expectations and met every goal and objective they made this summer for the Cartersville High School FBLA chapter. Thank you for all of your support for this club. I promise that the leadership activities and the business related trips that our members are exposed to make a difference in their lives! Please join me in congratulating the following students:

1.       Blake Pierson (President) 11th grade

2.       Lauren Kilgore (Vice President) 12th grade

3.       Karaline Layton (Secretary) 11th grade

4.       Cassie Katen (Co-Treasurer) 11th grade

5.       Elizabeth Woodall (Co-Treasurer) 11th grade

6.       Emory Rohland (Parliamentarian and Committee Director) 11th grade
